GRAB THE CHANCE TO SEE UNITED'S RISING STARS IN ACTION

There are just three days to go until Alan Main’s big day – his testimonial match against a Manchester United XI at McDiarmid Park on Saturday 3pm.

The goalkeeper, who holds the club appearance record, gets a well-deserved day in the sunshine in what will be the highlight of a year-long programme of events organised by his testimonial committee.

Fans turning up on Saturday will get the opportunity to see the stars of the future of the world famous Old Trafford side and Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s young guns have already shown that they are a force to be reckoned with having defeated Dunfermline Athletic 5-1 as part of their pre-season preparations.

A number of the Reds’ squad have already tasted first team football for Sir Alex Ferguson, among them James Chester who featured in the League Cup semi-final tie against Derby County in 2009 and who has enjoyed loan spells with Peterborough United and Plymouth Argyle, Norwegian striker Josh King who made his Old Trafford debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers last September and Brazilian midfielder Rodrigo Possebon who collected a Community Shield winners' medal as a unused substitute in the win over Portsmouth in 2008 and who all of Sir Alex's squads during the 2008/09 League Cup campaign and picked up his second winners' medal with the first team
following the penalty shoot-out victory over Tottenham in the final at Wembley.

Saturday will be a rare chance for Perth fans to see United’s young stars so why not come along? Tickets are not required – it’s cash at the turnstiles – and admission is priced at £15 for all adults and £5 for Under 16s.
