SQUAD RE-SHAPING CONTINUES

Derek McInnes has today put plans in place to further mould his squad ahead of the start of the season.

Defender Stuart McCaffrey looks set to leave the club with a move to Allan Moore’s Morton on the cards and recently recruited midfielder Jamie Adams will be joining Dundee on a loan arrangement until the end of the calendar year.

McInnes is convinced that Adams, only recruited in June, has a long-term contribution to make at McDiarmid Park but does feel that following his lack of match action in recent months that regular football is required to get him up to match sharpness and when Dundee boss Gordon Chisholm expressed a desire to give Jamie that, then it was an arrangement which both managers felt was beneficial.
