Goalkeeper Zander joined the club on a full-time basis in September 2008 having previously been with Hamilton Accies. He sustained an injury which kept him out of the game for 6 months and after he was released by the New Douglas Park club Saints moved to snap him up and he played a significant role as the 2008/2009 Under 17 side won their league title. Zander stepped up to the Under 19s at the start of this season.
