Jamie became the first new recruit of summer 2010 when he joined from Kilmarnock, where his contract had just expired.

The Stranraer-born player spent six years at Rugby Park but most of his first team action in that time came while on loan to other clubs - three stints with Queen of the South and one with Partick Thistle.

A cruciate injury suffered during one of those spells with the Dumfries side resulted in a lengthy absence, extended as a second operation was required to fully repair the damage.

However, with eighteen months of trouble free fitness behind him Jamie has come to Perth hoping to kick-start his career and in a bid to aid that he has gone on loan to Dundee until 31st December 2010 where he should get the regular game time which he needs following his lengthy absence.

Most comfortable in the centre of midfield, Jamie can also play centre half.
