When Manager Derek McInnes was looking for a striker in the summer of 2010, his thoughts turned to a player he had played alongside when he was at West Bromwich Albion.

That player was Scott Dobie and the English-born player needed little persuasion to play north of the border in the SPL.

On putting pen to paper on a one year deal Scott – who gained 6 full Scotland caps in the Bertie Vogts international era – said: “I’m not a 20 or 30 goals a season type of striker but I know I can weigh in with my fair share. I’ve always been at my best when playing off a target man – I’ve done so alongside the likes of Danny Dichio and Jason Roberts - and can play that role if required but I enjoy playing wide and did so in over half of last season at Carlisle.

Scott's home jersey for 2010/2011 is kindly sponsored by Farquhar and Son Printers and his away jersey for 2010/2011 is available for sponsorship.
