The former Swindon Town, Ipswich Town and Luton Town player was released by Walsall in May 2010 and joined the Saints squad for part of their Warwick training camp ahead of the 2009/2010 campaign and an already-keen Derek McInnes saw plenty to convince him that the 29 year old could play a significant role for the team. He was duly snapped up on a two year contract and scored in his first match - a pre-season friendly against Forfar Athletic - and more significantly grabbed the equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Hearts at Tynecastle on the opening day of the SPL season.
