Perth-born Ross joined the club in 2013 from Scone Thistle. Ross, who attended Perth Academy, was part of the Development Squad for season 2017/2018.
Ross joined BSC Glasgow in the Scottish Lowland League on-loan to January 2019 while continuing to play for the club's Reserves and U18 sides. While on-loan at the Indodrill Stadium, Ross penned a new contract keeping him at McDiarmid Park until at least May 2021.
He made eight appearances for BSC, keeping three clean sheets before returning to McDiarmid Park at the end of his loan spell.
He made his first appearance on the bench for the first-team against Livingston in March 2019 with Zander Clark ruled out due to a hamstring injury.
Sinclair, capped numerous times for Scotland U21s, admitted it was a dream come true when he made his first team debut in Dingwall against Ross County at the end of the 2022/23 season.
